Instructions to use data loader to update Pro Forma Commitment values
Export the Salesforce Report titled "Commitment Pro Forma Export" report in .csv format
Once the client updates Pro Forma Interest Dollar Amount. Open the CSV and look for discrepancies or mistakes by the client
Important: Remove the 5 Lines of Text at the bottom of the CSV found in Column A before beginning the update in Dataloader or you'll come across an initialization error.
Open Data Loader and Log Into Client Org
Select Update
Search Commitment and select aduro__Capital_Commitment__c and Click on it to select it.
Browse for and choose your CSV file that you verified and cleaned the 5 Lines of Text at the bottom.
- A pop-up will confirm successful initialization. Click OK.
- A new screen will load Step 3 Mapping. Click "Choose an Existing Map".
- Browse for and select the Provided Mapping document name "Pro Forma Import Mapping.sdl" which is located at the bottom of this article.
- Now Click the Next button to select the directory of your choice to save "Success" and "Error" files.
Click Finish to begin the update.
