Enabling Portal Users in Bulk (Bypassing the Portal Users Tab)

Enabling contacts is a process usually done from the "Portal Users" tab, however when there are a large number of contacts to enable at once, it may be preferable to mass update contacts via mass update instead.


This mass update can be performed by either updating a list view in bulk or by using the Salesforce Data Import Wizard. If there are any questions around using either of these tools, please reach out to support@fundpanel.io for further assistance. 


For the FundPanel support team to receive enable requests, a contact's “Portal Request Status” must be updated to the following value: 

Enable_Pending

The Portal Request Status field is located here:

With the “Enable_Pending” text added to the field, the field should look like this:

Once this field is updated to be “Enable_Pending”, please reach out to the FundPanel support team to finalize the contact & have the portal welcome email sent out.
