Two Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication is turned on for all Investor Portal users.  When a user logins, a verification code will automatically be emailed and they will be prompted to enter their verification code.

Once the user has entered the emailed verification code they will be prompted to either enter their phone number to receive verification notifications by SMS text or continue with email verification.  If they choose "CONTINUE USING EMAIL 2 FACTOR", they will then be logged into the portal, and the next time they log in they will automatically receive the verification code to their email.

Note: Verification codes (received by SMS or email) expire after 20 minutes. If a verification code is not being recognized, there is a chance the code has expired & a new code needs to be requested.

If a user wants to receive verification codes on their mobile phone, they will select their country code from the drop down, enter their phone number and click "VERIFY PHONE NUMBER".

Once a phone number is entered, a verification code will be sent by SMS text, and they will be prompted to enter the authentication code.

Turning on SMS Verification from the Investor Portal

If a user choses not to receive verification codes via SMS text and choses to continue with email verification, they can always change to SMS verification by clicking the circular icon in the top right corner of the portal and selecting "SMS Setup".

They will select their country code from the dropdown list, enter their phone number, and check the box for "Enable SMS Two Factor Authentication" in the SMS Setup window.

Next time they log into the portal a verification code will automatically be sent to their saved mobile number.
