Sending a Test Communication

To test and verify that a communication (both the email body and any attachments) are displaying correctly you can send a test email using the Send a Test Communication Button. 


Steps for Sending a Test Communication

To create a test communication, create a new Fund communication or go to any existing (unsent) Fund communication to get to the Fund Communication page.  


  • In the Fund Communication page, scroll down to the Recipients section and you will see the Send Test Communication button.

  • Click the Send Test Communication button to open the Send Test and Verify Communication window.  Click on Select Merge Details.

 

  • The Select A Vehicle/Contact window will open and you can select a test contact from the list or type in a name if you have a particular vehicle or contact you want to test.



  • Once you have selected a contact, enter the email address where you want the test communication to be delivered and click "Confirm Send".   


  • The test communication will be sent to your email and you can return back to the Fund Communication page. The email and any attachments will display as it would for the contact you selected for the test.
