This new feature allows you to report on IRR, grouped by funds or any other chosen metric. This enables more detailed and customizable financial analysis.

The setup for this feature can be found in Custom Settings in the Setup menu:

Enabling Company IRR by Fund

1. In Custom Settings, click "Manage" for "Group the Company IRR Metrics"
2. Click Edit
3. Tick the checkbox for "Calculate Company IRR By Fund?"
4. Save.
5. Go to any Company Summary Record and click "Recalculate IRR Snapshots"
6. Recalculate for All Company Summaries and validate in the IRR Snapshots section of the Company Summary record that the IRR snapshots are being grouped by fund.

Enabling Gross IRR by Metric

1. In Custom Settings, click "Manage" for "Group the Gross IRR Metrics"
2. Click Edit
3. Tick the checkbox for "Calculate Gross IRR By Metric?"
4. Select which metric the system should group by. If left blank, this will default to grouping by "Sector". If needing to group by a different metric, for example "Stage", then you will enter in the API name for the "Stage" field - "aduro__Stage__c"
5. Save.
6. Go to any Fund record and click "Recalculate IRR Snapshots" 
7. Recalculate for All Company Summaries and validate in the IRR Snapshots section of the Fund record that the IRR snapshots are being grouped by the metric of your choice.
