Emails logged to Salesforce via Lightning for Gmail/Outlook will be located in the activity history of the record. In this guide we will go over how to navigate through Lightning for Gmail/Outlook to locate a logged email on a Contact record. You will use the same process to locate a logged email on Company Summary, Account, and Opportunity records in Lightning for Gmail.
In Lightning for Gmail/Outlook:
- Click into the specific Contact record.
- Click on Activity tab. All logged emails will be located under the Past Activity section of the Activity tab.
- Click into the specific logged email for more content.
- Click on Related tab of the email message to view attachments associated with the logged email.
Please note: Clicking the attachment link will redirect you to the email record located in your Salesforce Org in a new tab. This is where you will be able to download the attachment associated with this email.
