FundPanel's Auto Match feature for portal document uploads quickly streamlines the process of uploading bulk documents to the investor portal.

This feature allows FundPanel to match files in a folder to individual Commitments/Vehicles in a Fund to be uploaded to the LP Portal as a Commitment document.

How to Prepare your Files for Upload:

Auto Match will match the files you select in a folder to each individual Commitment/Vehicle in a fund using the Vehicle ID enclosed in parenthesis or square brackets in the filename. The Vehicle ID is also named the AccountID of the Record Type "Investment Vehicle".

Example: VehicleName 123 LLC - Fund Name II,LP - Tax 2021(0015A00002G6JuN).pdf

File Preparation:

  1. Run the report named "Investment Vehicle Details"  in FundPanel and customize it to ensure the following 2 columns are in the report.
    1. Account ID
    2. Investment Vehicle Name

  2. Submit this to the Document Provider (i.e. Tax Advisor...) and have them submit future documents with the Account ID column included in the filename enclosed in parenthesis or square brackets ( ) [ ].
