FundPanel helps manage your funds and streamline communication with Limited Partners (LPs). This article provides an overview of the process for calling capital within FundPanel.

Overview

There are two main steps involved in calling capital via FundPanel:

1. Preparing the Capital Call within FundPanel. To create a capital call, please reference this article:

  • Creating a capital call allows you to set a due date for call & enter specific allocations for each LP.
  • Capital calls can be published to the investor portal. Once published, LPs can review their capital call details at any time. LPs can also use the portal to track capital call payment statuses.

2. Sending the Capital Call Notice. If your capital call has already been created within FundPanel, reference this article covering how to prepare the fund communication:

  • This step allows you to notify LPs via email & publish sent capital call notices to the investor portal.

Additionally, FundPanel allows capital call paid notices to be sent out to LPs. Please review this article should you wish to manage paid notices via FundPanel:

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage capital calls within FundPanel and ensure that your LPs are well-informed about upcoming calls. If you are not doing so already, it is highly recommended to form an action plan to launch the investor portal for your FundPanel system. This will allow your LPs added visibility and accessibility for their investments.
