Follow these steps to modify the field labels found in the Investor Details tab of the Investor Portal.
Step 1: Access Custom Metadata Types
1. Navigate to the Setup menu in Salesforce.
2. In the Quick Find box, search for Custom Metadata Types.
3. Click on Manage Records next to Field Label.
Step 2: Modify the LP Portal Custom Field Label Text
Within the list of field labels, click on the label you wish to modify.
Ensure you only make changes to the LP Portal Custom Field Label Text field. Do not modify any other field in this page.
Example 1:
Change Beneficiary Name to Representative Name:
Click Edit
Update the LP Portal Custom Field Label Text to the new label name, in this case I will use Representative Name.
Click Save.
Example 2:
Change Tax ID to Employer Identification Number (EIN):
Click on the Tax ID field.
Update the LP Portal Custom Field Label Text to Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Click Save.
Step 3: Verify Changes
Navigate to the Investor Portal to ensure your changes reflect correctly in the Investor Details tab.
Beneficiary Name to Representative Name
Tax ID to Employer Identification Number (EIN)
